UPDATE 13/4/20 - COVID19 and the Transition to Online Consultations

I hope you, your friends and your families are well. These are uncertain times and my plan for Speech Pathology Services will most certainly change with local developments. Many families have requested an individual online teleconference instead of face-to face clinical sessions. I am offering individual online teleconferences (using Apple FaceTime/Zoom.us). Online teleconferences in the first instance will be offered to clients at the same time as their regular booking.

The needs of my clients are diverse so online teleconference programmes will be adapted to meet individual needs, however, they will have a similar format including administration time and feedback to guardians. The provision of therapy with depend on the child's overall needs and concentration span. I will email a proposed plan prior to the initial meeting so that you understand the fee structure and format of sessions. This will be a collaborative process so that these sessions are effective and positive for your child and your family. Contact Kensington Osteopathy to register your interest for an initial online teleconference.

For those clients who choose to suspend Speech Pathology support, please contact the office and cancel bookings. Many of you normally break for school holidays so you may choose to cancel some sessions or you may choose to stop sessions altogether. Please schedule appointments to suit your individual needs.

If you require review reports, support or other documentation, please email me at alison@marriott.net.au

Take care of yourselves and those around you.

Regards Alison Marriott, Speech Pathologist
